    Product Description

    GCS switchgear is a versatile low-voltage power distribution device commonly utilized for power distribution, centralized motor control, and reactive power compensation in power generation and supply systems.
    This low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is designed for economy, rationality, and reliability. It features high breaking and making abilities, good dynamic and thermal stability, and flexibility.
    The main structure of GCS is similar to that of MNS, with the main busbar at the rear. Unlike the MNS, GCS utilizes a 20mm drawer modulus (25mm in MNS), and the drawer features a propulsion mechanism for easier and more flexible operation.
    • G -- Enclosed cabinet
    • C -- Draw out
    • S -- SenYuan Electric System

    Installation Environment

    • The ambient air temperature should not be higher than +40℃ and not lower than -5℃. The average temperature within 24 hours shall not be higher than +35℃;
    • Indoor installation and use, the altitude of the use site shall not exceed 2000m;
    • The relative humidity of the surrounding air should not exceed 50% when the maximum temperature is +40°C. However, higher relative humidity levels are allowed at lower temperatures. Consider the impact of occasional condensation caused by temperature changes, for instance, 90% at +20°C.
    • When installing the equipment, ensure that the angle with the vertical plane does not exceed 5%. Choose a location with minimal vibration and where electrical components are not susceptible to corrosion.
    • Users can negotiate with the manufacturer if they have special requirements.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What are the primary applications of GCS switchgear?
    GCS switchgear is a versatile low-voltage power distribution device mainly used for power distribution, centralized motor control, and reactive power compensation in power generation and supply systems.
    What does the GCS designation stand for?
    In GCS, "G" stands for Enclosed cabinet, "C" stands for Draw out, and "S" stands for SenYuan Electric System.
    How does GCS switchgear differ from MNS switchgear?
    Although GCS and MNS share a similar main structure with the main busbar at the rear, GCS features a 20mm drawer modulus (compared to 25mm in MNS) and utilizes a propulsion mechanism for smoother and easier drawer operation.
    What are the protection classes available for GCS switchgear?
    GCS switchgear is rated under protection classes IP30 and IP40.
    What are the temperature and altitude limits for installing GCS switchgear?
    The ambient air temperature must remain between -5°C and +40°C, with a 24-hour average temperature not exceeding +35°C. The installation site must be indoors at an altitude not exceeding 2000 meters.
    What are the relative humidity requirements for GCS switchgear installation?
    The relative humidity should not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher humidity levels are permitted at lower temperatures (for example, 90% at +20°C), taking into account potential condensation from temperature variations.
